Imagine a long table set amongst the trees, beside a creek and surrounded by roses.  This is the scene that greeted guests at the Springtime Memento Lunch on Saturday 15th November at Creekside in Mansfield.

Inspired design + delicious food are perfect partners. Throw into the mix a Victorian High Country location as your backdrop and you have a winning combination.

Ceramic artist Wendy Jagger created both dinner and dessert plates that became the basis for our Spring garden lunch. Teamed with the culinary creations from the chefs at the Mansfield Regional Produce Store this lunch promises to showcase and celebrate all things artisan for the table. A producer list encompassing local favourites such as Long Lane Capers, Buxton trout, Hook and Spoon meats and Strathbogie Ranges Estate olive oils, promises to take guests on a culinary journey of Victoria’s High Country.

The lunch was served on Wendy’s own handcrafted porcelain plates which guests then took home with them as their very own Springtime Memento.  Bringing together the flavours of the region this lunch was a delight for all who attended.
